Val d’Isère is about 200 km from Geneva Airport, roughly 3 h by road via Albertville, Moûtiers and Bourg-Saint-Maurice, then up the upper Isère valley past the Tignes dam.
A Luxotica transfer takes you door to door: your chauffeur meets you inside Geneva Airport, on the Swiss side or in the French sector, and drives you straight to your chalet or hotel. No shuttle timetable, no hire car on the long climb, and a price fixed and agreed in advance.
A border, mountain roads, winter rules and ski bags turn the last leg of your trip into a project. These are the things that make it simple.
Your chauffeur tracks your flight and waits in the arrivals hall with a name board, so you can be in Val d’Isère the same day, whatever time you land.
From 1 November to 31 March, mountain roads in Savoie and Haute-Savoie come under the Loi Montagne winter-equipment rules. Our cars run on winter tyres, and the weather and the parking are our concern.
The Mercedes V-Class seats up to 7 passengers. Tell us how many pairs of skis or snowboards you are bringing and we confirm the right set-up before you travel.
Val d’Isère shares a ski area of about 300 km of slopes with Tignes. Tell us your address and we take you to the door.
The village centre, with its church, shops and the Front de Neige at the foot of Bellevarde.
The entrance to the resort, with direct access to the Olympic downhill.
A quiet hamlet at the top of the valley, on the road to the Col de l'Iseran.
Tignes-le-Lac, Val Claret and Tignes 1800, just below Val d'Isère.
Arriving by train? We meet you at Bourg-Saint-Maurice station, 30 km below the resort.
Moving between resorts? We drive you to the Three Valleys too.
We plan your pickup time from your flight, with extra margin on Saturdays.
Megève, Chamonix, Méribel and more: see all our Alpine transfers.
The drive from Geneva Airport to Val d’Isère is about 200 km and usually takes around 3 h on a clear day. The route follows the motorway past Annecy or Chambéry to Albertville, then the N90 through Moûtiers to Bourg-Saint-Maurice, and the D902 up the valley past Tignes to the resort at 1,850 m.
On winter Saturdays, changeover traffic in the Tarentaise valley can add more than an hour. If you can, arrive on a Friday or Sunday.
Our advice: give us your flight number so we can adjust the pickup if you land early or late, and allow plenty of time for the return on a Saturday.
For the return, we suggest a pickup time based on your flight and the road conditions, so you reach Geneva with time to spare.
