Private Ski Transfer from Nice to the Ski Resorts

Nice – Ski Resorts

From the airport or your villa straight to the slopes

The ski resorts of the Alpes-Maritimes are closer to the sea than most people expect: Isola 2000 and Auron are about 90 km from Nice, roughly 1 h 30 by road, and Valberg and La Colmiane about 1 h 15. Turini Camp d’Argent, the nearest, is only 40 km away.

A Luxotica ski transfer takes you door to door: your chauffeur meets you inside the terminal at Nice Airport, or at your hotel or villa on the Riviera, and drives you straight to your chalet or the foot of the slopes. No bus timetable, no mountain driving and no parking to find, with a price fixed and agreed in advance.

Why a private ski transfer

What makes a ski transfer from Nice easier

Mountain roads, winter rules and ski bags turn a short drive into a project. These are the things that make it simple.

Straight from Your Flight

Your chauffeur tracks your flight and waits in the arrivals hall with a name board, so you can be at the resort the same afternoon.

No Mountain Driving

From 1 November to 31 March, mountain roads in the Alpes-Maritimes come under the Loi Montagne winter-equipment rules. You leave the road, the weather and the parking to us.

Room for the Whole Group

The Mercedes V-Class seats up to 7 passengers. Tell us how many pairs of skis or snowboards you are bringing and we confirm the right set-up before you travel.

Getting to the slopes

How long does it take from Nice to the ski resorts?

Isola 2000 and Auron are both about 90 km from Nice, and the drive takes around 1 h 30 up the Var and Tinée valleys. Valberg and La Colmiane take about 1 h 15, and Turini Camp d’Argent, at 40 km, is the quickest to reach. These are typical times on a clear day: after snowfall, on the first Saturday of the school holidays or on a busy Sunday evening, the roads can be much slower.

The regional “100% Neige” buses run from Nice to the main resorts for €10 one way during the season: line 92 to Isola 2000, line 91 to Auron, line 90 to La Colmiane on weekends and holidays, and the ZOU! line 670 to Valberg. They are cheap, but you carry your skis and bags, follow a fixed timetable and change at Nice if you land at the airport.

Our advice: on arrival days, book a pickup time that matches your flight and leave the airport straight for the mountains. Our guide to the ski resorts near Nice (in French) compares each resort in detail.

Step by step

How your ski transfer works

  1. Send your details. Flight number or pickup address, date and time, number of passengers, bags and pairs of skis or snowboards, and your resort or chalet address.
  2. Receive a fixed price. We reply with a fixed price. Once you accept, your booking is confirmed and we share your chauffeur’s details.
  3. Meet your chauffeur. At the airport, your chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall with your name; at a hotel or villa, at the time agreed.
  4. Arrive at the resort. We drive you to your chalet, residence or the foot of the slopes and help unload your equipment.

For the return, we suggest a pickup time based on your flight and the road conditions, so you reach the airport with time to spare.
